Well, I’m sitting here in the Legal Research Board office completing my first hour of “office hours.” Just a second ago, I took a look around the office to get oriented.
It turns out the Legal Research Board is not just an organization. There is actually a Legal Research “Board”. Seriously, there is a 2 x 4 with LRB written on it in big letters.
It will be used for our initiation ritual. The older members will be dressed in robes and will smack us with the board, after which we are supposed to repeat. “The LRB is for me…the LRB is for me…the LRB is for me.”
I hope it leaves a mark.

Is the LRB written backwards so it can be read from behind or mirrored so the recipient can see it while preparing for school?
