Sometimes, I’m reminded that human behavior is a crazy thing. The stampede in Yemen reminds of that. Why on earth would you trample children and teenagers? It doesn’t even appear that there was an emergency. People were just coming in and out. Would that ever happen here? I hope not. They play this video on evacuation procedures at the UT games and I always think that everyone would be calm, cool and collected…but would they? Would the drunk guy behind me step on my head to get out of the stadium before me? Probably so. I’m going to start wearing a helmet.
